This year, I held my first mini sessions at the annual Kuiper’s Midwest Tulip Fest, and the day did NOT disappoint! Kelcie and Ryan wanted a fun, sweet flower field couples photoshoot to celebrate their first year of dating. First thing I had to ask them was, “are you comfortable being silly, running through the fields, chasing each other, swinging around, things like that?” When they looked at each other and said, “sure, why not!” I knew it was gonna be a great time.

Shoutout to Kuiper’s Family Farm in Maple Park, IL, for creating such a beautiful landscape and loving on their patrons so well during the short tulip season! The fields are beautiful, the colors stunning, and they have lovely props and photo spots scattered around. I love that within one hour, I worked with Kelcie and Ryan on this shoot and then did this whimsical children’s tulip session, and that both had such different colors and vibes within the same space. When working with me, I will always look for ways for every single shoot to look unique!
