I met Liz and Andrew (better known as “Flip” to close friends) through my husband. He went to college with Flip, and the two have remained friends in the years past. Since moving to Southern California, their friendship has been reawakened and we’ve been able to spend more time with them since we now live only an hour away from them. Yay!

These two have been married about five years or so – ah, the exact number escapes me – and they really wanted some awesome, fresh, updated photos of them. That’s where I come in, happy to oblige and eager to please!

We opted for a sweet and fun urban-esque feel, which I think is perfectly suited to their character and personalities. Old Town in Orange, CA was absolutely PERFECT! Despite the fact that we arrived there on the exact day that Christmas festivities and tree-lighting ceremonies were going on, we still found plenty of great places to explore. I can’t wait to go back and check out the rest of the beautiful historic town.

Also I should mention – Flip and Liz have an awesome passion for the Lord and ministry. They’re heavily involved in Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside in various ways. In fact, when my husband and I attended the recent Harvest Crusade in Anaheim, they were there the whole weekend down on the ground, working behind the scenes to hand out Bibles and follow up with new believers. There’s nothing sweeter to me then watching a married couple in love with each other and in love with their Savior, working together for the Kingdom!

When we wrapped up their photos together, I asked Liz if she wanted any of herself individually. She actually told me that she wasn’t sure how great they’d be, since she thinks she’s a horrible model. Ummmm… guys, help me out here, am I crazy?! Look at how beautiful and natural she is! Flip is one blessed and lucky man! 😉
