What a perfect spring day to celebrate this beautiful couple’s story as they prepare to bring their first baby into the world soon. Ryan and Veronica’s Cantigny Park maternity photos felt like the perfect representation for their personalities and aesthetic. They’re one of those couples who just radiate light—super fun, easygoing, and so full of love and genuine kindness. We met through a few of my other past clients who are all friends. I was so thankful for the recommendation and to meet more of their amazing friend group!
At our design consult (a key part of the full-service experience my clients get), I learned more about their love story of over 15 years, and how their faith has kept them rooted as they’ve awaited the chance to grow their family. They’re living in a miracle of answered prayer. It made it all the more special to be apart of preserving this chapter for them!
I met Ryan and Veronica in Wheaton for their maternity session, starting at St James Farm Forest Preserve and then heading over to Cantigny Park for a more elevated look. It was one of those perfect mornings that felt more like a walk with friends than a photoshoot. They brought along their pup, Teddy, who was the star of the show in his own way. This was their first professional photo session with him, and he did great! Honestly, I love when furry family members join the party. They are part of the story and matter, too!
Wheaton Maternity Photos at Cantigny Park
Once we finished up at our first stop St James, we headed to stop number two and changed into fancier outfits. We walked through the gardens and spent time at the iconic McCormick mansion, which match the aesthetic of their home, and just captured them being themselves—laughing, dancing a little (yes, they used to do Latin dancing together!), and soaking in this exciting season of life before baby arrives. It was natural and joyful.
Afterward during our reveal session, they chose their favorite images to frame for their home, and we designed a beautiful album to sit on their coffee table. I always love helping clients turn their photos into real keepsakes—it’s such a special way to make these memories last.
