Few moments are as precious to catch on camera than the moment he goes down on one knee and asks her to be his bride. Tonight, the evening before Thanksgiving, I’m certainly grateful for the chance to be apart of this memory for Mike and Sam.

I’m also teary-eyed, as I remember that exactly 4 years ago on Thanksgiving night, my own then-fiance took me down to the lake after our turkey dinner to see the stars. It was there on Sunset Beach in Canyon Lake, CA that I said yes to being his wife. It was one of the sweetest nights of my life, and tonight I couldn’t be more grateful that he chose me.

These last four years have brought some crazy memories both big and small, good and bad. If there is one thing I have learned, it is that the strongest love is the love that endures through all things together. You may fail, you may each have your moments of weakness, but through forgiveness and grace and unconditional love, you can truly conquer all.

So Mike and Sam, I wish the same to you, that you learn to love each other deeply through all circumstances. And always be best friends.

I wish you all the best, and a very, very Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
