I’ve been driving by a gorgeous landscape in Menifee filled with beautiful rock formations and greenery for weeks on end now. And every time I passed the patch of untouched desert-land, my soul cried, “Needing!”
At the same time, I’ve been spending a lot more time with my extended cousin and new friend, Shariah. She’s a college freshman, with a beautiful down to earth and carefree spirit. And oh, did I mention she’s former Miss Riverside County?! Yes. If I was ever looking for a perfect adventure partner and model, I thought of Shariah and my soul cried, “Needing!”
It couldn’t have been a more perfect night. Despite a few areas where some wanderers have clearly made a home amidst the rocks or deposited their waste, we couldn’t get enough of the mostly untouched rocks and colors.
Basically, I’ve already told my husband to be prepared to pack a basket and blanket, cause we’re heading to the hills for a sunset dinner date one of these days!
But being real, though.
Thank you Shariah for adventuring with me.
You rocked.
No pun intended. 😉
