Tulip Family Photos at Kuipers Family Farm
There are some families whose stories stay with you, and this is certainly one of them. Their tulip family photos were simply perfection; but the meaning behind it all is what really gets me.
I first met Mom and Dad while they were eagerly awaiting the arrival of their precious baby girl. During our first consult, they shared that she was a miracle—a little girl who had been prayed over for many many years. Knowing that has made every photograph we created together feel even more meaningful.
We began last year with a beautiful maternity session, celebrating the anticipation and joy of this new season, and designed a custom heirloom album. Then soon after baby S was born, they chose my Grow With Me Collection, allowing us to document the incredible journey of her entire first year through newborn, six-month, and one-year milestone sessions.
Being able to walk with this family over the last 1-2 years has been such a special honor. We’ve had so much fun and I cannot wait to see them continue to grow.

The Grow With Me Collection – Baby’s 1st Year
For S’s one-year portraits, we met at the breathtaking Midwest Tulip Festival at Kuipers Family Farm, It’s one of my favorite locations for spring family photos near Aurora and Naperville, Illinois. It could not have been the more perfect day! (Okay, maybe except for the fact that the giant 1-year old balloon was blown away before we could even get a photo with this, hehe). But honestly it was everything we could’ve asked for.
The first year of a baby’s life passes by faster than almost any other season. In what feels like the blink of an eye, they grow from tiny newborn snuggles to becoming little people with unique personalities. Those tiny details—the chubby hands, the gummy smiles—change so quickly.
That’s exactly why I love offering my Grow With Me Collection.
Instead of trying to remember to book milestone sessions every few months and feeling stressed while the year races by, you lock me in to three milestone sessions for baby’s first year: newborn, 6 months, and 1 year. Each session is thoughtfully planned and styled with my assistance. You get to choose the images you love the most. At the end of the year, I create a keepsake album that holds all of baby’s precious milestones in one place to cherish and look back on. That’s it!
No more stress, forgetting, or wondering what to wear. Families can simply enjoy the experience while I take care of the planning. From choosing locations and coordinating outfits to guiding every session and designing heirloom artwork afterward, my goal is to remove the stress so parents can focus on what matters most. Being fully present with their growing family.
Now, as we finish S’s first-year journey, I’m creating a stunning leather-bound heirloom album that will beautifully tell the story of her first twelve months. Cannot wait for it to get here in the mail!
