Are you a beginner photographer that wants to learn how to take your editing to the next level?! You know the basics, but want to start editing like a pro?
Or, does Adobe Lightroom confuse you, and you would love step-by-step instructions how to use it?
Over the years, I’ve received a lot of questions from friends or family or even strangers on how to edit portraits to reflect consistency, great skin tones, and gorgeous colors. Trust me when I say it is something that has taken me years to improve in myself! I knew next to nothing when I first started out. It’s why my photos looked like were painted by 4th-graders, with extremely saturated colors and obnoxious contrast. Looking back, I really can’t believe I thought that style looked “amazing!”
Now, over seven years later, the internet has exploded with information, and there is an unending flow of free education at our fingertips. I’ve spent hours and hours pouring over articles, watching tutorials, and listening to webcasts to learn as much as I can. To me, the learning process is never over. I still feel like I have a long way to go.
With that being said, though, I’ve recently felt such a pull to help other beginners who desperately want to improve their editing skills. Because it’s one thing to take a great photo, but it’s another to make that photo look like a piece of art!
So without further ado…
I’m super excited to announce something for YOU, the beginner photographer + editor!
Phew, guys, this is NERVE-WRECKING. I’m not typically an all-out-there kind of person, and I’m often pretty self-conscious of people staring at me… but it had to be done.
I took the leap into the world of YouTube tutorials, and am so excited to bring you fresh, fun tips all about Lightroom and beyond!
You can watch my Introduction video HERE. (Eeeeey, vulnerability at it’s finest!!) I go into a little more detail about who I am, so you can put a face with name and voice!
I want to know what YOU want to learn about. Would you let me know in the comments?
What features in Lightroom confuse you?
What is your biggest weakness when it comes to editing?
How can I help you push yourself?
I’m so grateful for all of the love and support I’ve received over the years. I’ve learned so much from other photographers who have given their time and talent to beginners. Now, it’s my turn to give back.
Thank you for coming along for the ride. Again, please let me know how I can help YOU start editing like a pro!
